Supported employment
Supported employment assists people with mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders in obtaining stable jobs in the community and provides them with resources they need to maintain employment.

- Specialty mental health probation officers work closely with an Individual Placement Support-Supported Employment (IPS-SE) team to provide supported employment services designed to improve employment outcomes for people on probation who have mental illnesses.
- The IPS-SE team works with probation officers, treatment providers, and employers to provide these services.
